​Course Description
This course explores the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) tools into teaching and learning, combining critical analysis with hands-on experience to help students evaluate the educational potential and limitations of GenAI. Students will examine how GenAI works, its pedagogical implications, and its influence on cognitive processes and student learning. They will develop a comprehensive understanding of the benefits and challenges of using GenAI across diverse educational contexts and will create a digital literacy plan to support responsible, ethical use. 
Through interactive activities, students will investigate a wide range of GenAI tools for instruction, assessment, content creation, and student learning. They will also develop practical criteria for evaluating GenAI tools. The course emphasizes inquiry, reflection, and critical thinking to foster thoughtful, intentional adoption of GenAI technologies. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to make informed, ethical, and effective decisions about integrating GenAI into their teaching or professional practice.
